Beware of New Email Scams
You may have received emails that appear to be from the Internal Revenue Service, asking for personal information. Similar to fraudulent emails appearing to come from banks, these emails usually carry the logo from the IRS, and a link to what may seem to be an official IRS website.

However, these fraudulent emails, know as "phishing" are not from the IRS or banks, but rather from fraudulent websites trying to convince you to give them your personal information.

Hirsch and Company Accountants reminds you to never give out personal information unless you are absolutely sure you are dealing with a legitimate website, such as a secure order form for goods and services.
